Before

Pre-Consultation & Booking

As a “boutique-service” event painter, Katheryn accepts a limited number of event painting clients throughout the year. This enables her to invest time into getting to know her clients and the event they are planning. A pre-consultation over the phone or at a local coffee shop allows both you and Katheryn to see if it’s a good match.

Booking a minimum of two months in advance is required to provide time for any further consultations, supply purchase, and composition preparation. A 50% deposit and signed contract are required to book your event painting date.

Event & Venue Consultations

A detailed consultation will be set up at the time of booking. This time will provide Katheryn a chance to get to know you and your vision for the big day! You will be able to request specific details to be included in the painting (i.e. particular guests, details of your venue, decor, color palette, and attire).  A second meeting will be set up two months prior to the event to visit the location and find the particular viewpoint that best captures the venue and event.

During

It’s the BIG DAY!

Katheryn will arrive early to the event venue to set up and get a feel for the tone and mood set by the space. She will begin painting the background space at this time in preparation for the arrival of guests. Guests and specific details will be painted during the event.

Note: The event’s expression and mood will be seen through an artistic lens and will not take the place of photography. The painting will be an authentic and unique work of art that can be treasured for years to come.

After

Studio Touch-ups

The finishing touches will be done in studio. Touch-ups take 4-6 weeks. A professional photograph of the painting will be taken at this time. The painting will be dry and ready for delivery 6-8 weeks after the event. Free delivery is offered to those in the indianapolis area. (Other shipping costs may be calculated upon booking.)

Prints and Additional Paintings

You will be provided with a professional digital photo of the painting for your personal use. The high-resolution image of the event painting can be printed on stationary, thank-you cards, and true-to-size stretched canvas. (It even makes for a fantastic backdrop for your desktop!)

Additional paintings created based on photos from the event may be commissioned post-event. These framed paintings can be unique thank-you gifts for family, coworkers, and close friends. Prices start at $250.
